About Me -

Trauma‑Informed Online Therapist

I’m Karen - a therapist who believes in gentle, steady, whole‑person healing. My work is shaped by the people I’ve supported, the experiences I’ve lived, and the deep respect I have for the human mind and body.

I’ve spent over 11 years helping adults and young people navigate anxiety, trauma, overwhelm, and the quieter struggles that often go unseen. What matters most to me is creating a space where you feel safe enough to soften, breathe, and be fully yourself.

Why I Do This Work

I became a therapist because I’ve seen how powerful it is when someone finally feels understood - not judged, not rushed, not expected to “be fine”, but genuinely met where they are.

I’ve always been drawn to the inner world: the stories we carry, the patterns we repeat, the parts of us that protect, the parts that ache, and the parts that long to be seen. Supporting people through this work feels like a privilege I never take lightly.

What Matters to Me in Therapy

I care deeply about:

  • emotional safety

  • going at your pace

  • honouring your lived experience

  • working with the nervous system, not against it

  • creating a space where nothing is “too much”

  • helping you reconnect with your inner steadiness

  • supporting the parts of you that have been carrying too much

My approach is warm, intuitive, and grounded in compassion.

How My Approach Evolved

Over the years, I’ve woven together:

  • therapeutic counselling

  • creative and symbolic work

  • trauma‑informed practice

  • mind‑body awareness

  • the MAP Method™

This blend became Mind Body Mastery - a way of working that honours the whole person, not just the mind or the story.

What It’s Like to Work With Me

Clients often describe me as calm, steady, and gently challenging when needed. I hold space with warmth, curiosity, and a deep respect for your pace.

I’m not here to analyse you from a distance - I’m here to walk alongside you.

Working Online

I work online only, which allows you to settle into therapy from your own safe, familiar environment. Many clients find they open up more easily this way.
